    Job Location: North American Decal Inc. 140 Riviera Dr., Markham, ON L3R 5M1

    Job Description: At North American Decal Inc. (NAD), Shippers and Receivers perform the crucial roles of shipping, receiving, and recording the movement of raw materials, parts, supplies, equipment and finished goods to customers or from vendors, as applicable.

    Main duties:

    • Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices, and other shipping documents manually or by computer.

    • Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.

    • Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances.

    • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.

    • Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas.

    • Maintain all record-keeping or inventory systems as required.

    • May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.

    Employment requirements:

    • Completion of education and/or related experience in shipping, receiving, supply chain and/or logistics is required.

    • Knowledge of shipping-specific computer programs (e.g. UPS, FedEx, Purolator, GLS, etc.) and MS Office 365 is a strong asset.

    • A forklift certificate is an asset.

    • Applicants may be required to lift 50 lbs. under perfect lifting conditions. However, accommodation can be made for the right candidate who possesses the skills above.

    • Reliable round-trip transportation between home and our facility is required.

Technical Sales Specialist

    Job duties:
    Maintain and grow sales relationships with existing clients.

    Identify and solicit potential clients.

    Assess clients' needs, recommend, or assist in product specifications, and negotiate prices or other sales terms.

    Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit clients' needs.

    Develop sales presentations, proposals, or other materials to illustrate benefits from use of our products and services.

    Prepare and administer sales contracts and maintain customer records using the company CRM database.

    Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.

    Troubleshoot technical problems related to our products.

    Research market conditions, competitors' activities, and emerging product/market trends.

    Continually hone specialty by developing a knowledgebase of durable industrial labels required for our target market.

    Develop and maintain technical product and service knowledge to explain features to clients and answer questions about our goods and services.

    May offer training in the application of our products in the customers’ environment.

    Develop, implement, and report on sales strategies to achieve business goals.

    May supervise the activities of other technical staff and sales specialists.

    Skills requirement (education, experience)

    A university degree or college diploma in business, communications, or related field.

    Experience in sales, printing, or graphic communications is highly desirable.

    A driver's license and a good driving record is highly desirable.

    Language (English or French)

    English and Spanish.

    French would be an asset.

    Terms of employment (project based, term, probationary, permanent, etc.)

    Full time (40 hours per week).

    Permanent, with a 6-month probationary term.

    Working hours per week.

    M-F, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

    Hourly wage (must include any incremental raises, performance pay or bonuses)

    Base Compensation:
    $21/hr. ($43,680 salary).

    Variable Compensation:
    10-20% of base pay based on individual and company performance.
